The Opportunity Plan program has assisted more than 7,500 college students since 1954. If you are one of these alumni and you have lost touch with our program, we invite you to reconnect today! There are numerous ways you can stay up-to-date and participate in Opportunity Plan activities. Keep in touch Do you read the Opportunity Plan newsletter? It is available right here on the website and features great stories about current students, donors and activities. A former student is featured in each issue so you might read about someone you know. Send us an information update about yourself so we can feature you in a future issue! Click on the ''newsletters'' link at left to see the recent issues. Volunteer There are numerous ways you can share your time and talent to benefit area college students. Serving on the program's board of directors, helping to plan special events and assisting in the office are great ways to become more involved. Pass it on Many former Opportunity Plan students have established their own student loan or scholarship divisions to ''pass on'' the financial and emotional support they received through the program. Other alumni make contributions to existing divisions and to the program's operating fund. General contributions can be made utilizing the contribution form listed on the left menu bar. Membership contributions can be made using the following form: Word-of-mouth advertising is the best way to spread the word to other potential students and donors. Tell your neighbors, business associates, fellow church members and friends about the services offered to students and donors through the Opportunity Plan program. |
