| Financial aid for a variety
of college students The Opportunity Plan, Inc. offers student loans and scholarships to individuals from all walks of life. From a high school senior who is planning his first semester of college to a mother of three who is returning to school, Opportunity Plan students have a variety of backgrounds. Proven track record Since the Opportunity Plan was founded in 1954, more than 12,000 students have received assistance to attend college. Many of these students would have had a difficult time staying in school without the funds provided by the Opportunity Plan program. Priority for funding Priority for the loans and scholarships offered through the Opportunity Plan program is given to students from the panhandle and south plains areas of Texas. A service to donors The Opportunity Plan, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Individuals, families, civic groups, businesses and foundations contribute funds to the organization to establish the student loan and scholarship divisions.
